How To Blend Existing Fringe with a One-Length Haircut

Cut
Apply Redken One Unite as a cutting lotion so shears glide smoothly over hair.
With horizontal finger positioning, angle Sam Villa Artist Series 6" Slide Cutting Shears and allow hand to push shear down the fringe, into the longer hair and to the ends. This will connect fringe to the sides with a soft continuous edge.
Style
Use a Sam Villa Signature Series Thermal Round Brush 2" (has to be a thermal brush to heat hair for maximum volume) to blow dry hair away from the face. While drying, twist the brush and hair while working towards the perimeter and allow the texture to cool and set.
Once cool, use a styling brush or fingers to pump up the volume. A soft hold spray can also be used for support.
"This technique blends the fringe into the sides and creates soft, beautiful, face framing layers that really come to life when dried with a thermal brush," says Villa.
